AgeSong Marin

AgeSong Marin provides discussion groups for older adults in Marin. The program seeks to enrich the lives of seniors by exploring important topics of 'life's third act,' such as coping with change and loss, handling surprises, making new connections, and seeking insight and wisdom. As people share stories, laugh at foibles, reflect on experiences, they discover a sense of community and new opportunities for joy. The group leaders are volunteers, mostly retired or semi-retired mental health professionals with experience facilitating groups. Groups generally include seven participants and two facilitators, and meet for ninety minutes each week for eight weeks. Fee for group series is $80. Scholarships available.
