Community Action Marin: Peer Mental Health Programs

Provides an atmosphere of warmth and caring that will give the best opportunities for those with mental illness to reach their highest potential. The Peer Mental Health Program is committed to teaching, empowering and advocating for our clients. All services are provided by trained Peer Counselors. Its activities range from working with individuals and families as case managers to helping people through times of crises. Referrals can be made through a variety of ways including calls directly from clients, family members, friends, law enforcement officers, community agencies, therapists and physicians.
