Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery

Schurig Center is a non-profit, post-acute center providing therapeutic and supportive services designed specifically to help people rebuild their lives after an acquired brain injury, like traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, stroke, and aneurysm. We pick up where the healthcare system leaves off to help survivors and their family members adjust to life changes and regain essential skills. We also provide resource referral assistance and a free brain injury information handbook, available online at our website (www.schurigcenter.org). Services are facilitated by trained professionals with experience in the field of brain injury or whose training is applicable to the needs of our clients. Services are offered in a welcoming community center surrounded by a garden on the College of Marin campus in Larkspur. We welcome people from throughout the Bay Area. As a member of the ConcussionSmart Marin coalition, we also offer free concussion education online at www.concussionsmartmarin.org.
