Visiting Angels

Visiting Angels is part of a national organization, and their offices have served Marin County and the Greater Bay area since 2001. Their mission is to provide professional non-medical homecare and living assistance services to individuals and their families who need such assistance but wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, their services can be utilized by those who wish to supplement the services which they may be receiving in assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Visiting Angels is committed to developing an on-going relationship with the client and their families and is not just a caregiver placement agency. Furthermore, they are dedicated to offering reliable and caring service by assisting with the following goals:
* Provide quality and reliable care in the client's home.
* Provide caring homecare services which promote client comfort through minimizing the impact of an illness or disability, maximizing their independence and by restoring, maintaining and promoting their health.
* Provide assistance and education regarding the benefits of receiving homecare services.
* Facilitate a collaborative communication process between the client, family, medical professionals, caregiving staff and case managers in the provision of the best care possible, as appropriate to do so.
With respect to providing service towards these goals, the Visiting Angels staff consists of screened, bonded, insured and experienced caregivers that are available to provide clients with part-time or full-time care as required. Also, their management staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to handle emergency situations, last minute needs and special arrangements. Visiting Angels offers a no cost/no obligation assessment by an RN Branch Manager which is meant as an informative service to help decide which type of care is best for your specific needs.
