Drug/Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System Waiver (DMC-ODS)

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved California's Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) Waiver  which provides a continuum of care modeled after the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria for substance use disorder treatment services.  For additional information, please visit the DHCS DMC-ODS website.

Mental Health and Substance Use Services (MHSUS) changed its name to Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS).  As such, all references in existing departmental policies and procedures to MHSUS can be understood to reference BHRS as well.
