What Is Marin County Doing About Homelessness?

Marin County is the biggest funder of homeless services in the county and is a leader in transforming the homeless system of care. We are proud to work across County departments, with the cities, and with our community partners to create a unified system to help house people and keep them housed.

    Marin Magazine published a profile of some individuals' journey to housing in Marin, including two members of the Marin County Lived Experience Advisory Board. Almost 730 individuals have been housed in Permanent Supportive Housing as of February 2024. Check out our data dashboard for up to date figures.

The Division of Homelessness and Whole Person Care has just launched a way to help support our mutual efforts to end homelessness in our community. By placing this image—which we’re calling a “badge”—on your website and linking it to Marin HHS’s Housing First website, https://housingfirst.marinhhs.org, we can raise awareness of our combined efforts to address homelessness and highlight your organization’s role in supporting this outcome.
