Latino Community Connection

Latino Community Connection trains and supports Promotores to provide outreach, education, support and linkages to services in Central, North and West Marin. Provides mental health education, screening, and assistance in a community-based organization in the Canal District and Novato. Bilingual behavioral health providers provide brief interventions for individuals, couples, and families, including psycho-education, and coping skills.  Produces a weekly radio show about mental health related topics in Spanish. These services help to bridge the cultural and language barriers that contribute to the Latino community being underserved for mental health needs.
