Public Health Officer
Lisa M. Santora, MD, MPH, is the Public Health Officer for Marin County. In this position she provides clinical oversight for Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP), Communicable Disease Prevention and Control (CDPC), and Detention Health. Prior to this role, she was the Chief Medical Officer for the Beach Cities Health District (BCHD). Dr. Santora has worked in federally-qualified health centers across the country. She is a graduate of Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and completed residencies in preventive medicine and family medicine in Buffalo and Miami.
