Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) [1]

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work based training program for older workers. Authorized by Older Americans Act, the program provides subsidized, service-based training for low-income persons 55 or older who are unemployed and have poor employment prospects. SCSEP is funded through the U.S. Department of Labor. Marin County administers this program through a collaboration between the Area Agency on Aging and Marin County Employment and Training.
