EH Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Guidance for Cleaning Community Spaces - 3/14/20 - Advisory

Cleaning regularly touched surfaces is an important way to protect against COVID-19 infection. Current evidence suggests that the virus may remain infectious for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Marin County Public Health and Marin County Environmental Health Services is providing this information to guide the cleaning and disinfection of common areas in non-medical facilities in the community, such as schools, offices, daycare centers, businesses, community centers that do not house persons overnight.
