Bilingual (Spanish and English) Recovery Coach or Peer Support Specialist

The Marin County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services’ (BHRS) is seeking proposals to contract for one bilingual (English and Spanish) Recovery Coach OR Peer Support Specialist Contractor.  The Recovery Coach or Peer Support Specialist contractor will provide services and partner with local providers to meet the following project goals: 1) Increase the number of Marin Medi-Cal and low income uninsured beneficiaries at the Emergency Department (ED) for Substance Use that receive a follow up substance use treatment service within 7 or 30 days; and 2) Reduce the disparity between English and Spanish speakers in the percent that receive follow up substance use treatment services.
