Questions and Answers:
Question: Our organization provides recovery services. Is partnering with a telehealth organization acceptable?
Answer: If the applicant is proposing to subcontract with another organization to deliver services, include that information in the proposal submission. Any subcontractors need to comply with all applicable contract requirements, including providing Recovery Services under the umbrella of a Drug/Medi-Cal certified Outpatient program and being eligible to provide services through the Drug/Medi-Cal Program. The County needs to review and approve any subcontracts prior to delivering services.
Question: Can an applicant propose to only provide Recovery Support Services?
Answer: An applicant can propose to only provide Recovery Support Services, though needs to do so under the umbrella of a Drug/Medi-Cal certified outpatient program.
Question: Is the intention to select only one provider?
Answer: The County may opt to select more than one provider.
Question: How will individuals who need treatment get connected with potential providers?
Answer: Marin County includes all network providers in our Provider Directory, which we share with the public and referring partners. Referrals typically come from service partners (e.g. Primary Care, Behavioral Health providers, Probation), the BHRS Access team and self-referral.
