Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Treatment

Provided by contracted community-based agencies, outpatient and intensive substance use services are designed to address the treatment needs of individuals, and include individualized treatment planning, education, individual and group counseling sessions, and linkage with ancillary and recovery support services.

Mental Health and Substance Use Services (MHSUS) changed its name to Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS).  As such, all references in existing departmental policies and procedures to MHSUS can be understood to reference BHRS as well.
