CalFresh

CalFresh (also known as food stamps) is a program that gives people money for groceries. After an application process, recipients get an EBT card (like a debit card) that they can use at grocery stores and farmers markets.

Application Process: 

Apply by mail, online, in person at the county offices, and with the SF-Marin Food Bank.

Eligibility: 

Residents earning less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level may be eligible to apply.
