Information on Service Adjustments During the COVID-19 Emergency

HHS is the County’s largest department with more than 700 employees who work at many sites throughout Marin. Many HHS offices have reopened with limited staffing to the public. Staff will continue to provide services remotely when possible for safety reasons, and residents in need of HHS services should consider conducting conversations over the phone or email when possible. Please call ahead if you have an appointment or require in-person assistance.

  • For information on resources and services specifically for older adults (persons 60+), persons with disabilities and family caregivers, call (415) 57-INFO (415) 457-4636 or email 457-INFO@marincounty.org.
  • HHS created a phone hotline, (415) 473-7191 (CRS 711), and an online contact form, for residents to contact staff with questions or concerns about the virus and about the county and community response. The call center is open from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. weekdays, and interpreter services are available.

Stockstill House

Located near picturesque and historic town of Pt. Reyes Station, Stockstill House offers high quality 24-hour personalized care for eight residents in a warm spacious home. Owned and operated by West Marin Senior Services, Stockstill House is a residential care facility for the elderly, licensed by the State of California Community Care Licensing Division. The facility is accessible by mobility aids and maintains a wheelchair van for transport of the residents. Our well trained, experienced professional caregivers provide daily assistance with bathing, incontinence, transferring, oral medication administration and personal grooming, a variety of activities to stimulate learning, inspiration, and physical enhancement, freshly prepared meals that meet the specific dietary needs of each resident, transportation for medical and dental appointments, and houskeeping and laundry services. Residents with mild cognitive impairment and confusion are accepted. Residents participate in our monthly on-site Stockstill House Teas. Local routine medical, Podiatry and mobile dental hygiene services are also available on-site, by appointment. House calls from local hairdresser. RCFE license #: 216801977.
