Information on Service Adjustments During the COVID-19 Emergency

HHS is the County’s largest department with more than 700 employees who work at many sites throughout Marin. Many HHS offices have reopened with limited staffing to the public. Staff will continue to provide services remotely when possible for safety reasons, and residents in need of HHS services should consider conducting conversations over the phone or email when possible. Please call ahead if you have an appointment or require in-person assistance.

Tenants Together

Tenants Together is a statewide renters' rights organization devoted to defending and advancing the rights of California tenants. We work to help tenants assert their rights to safe, decent, and affordable housing. Most tenants around the state have no meaningful protection from rising rents, unfair evictions and abusive landlords. We can help answer questions about rights as a tenant in California and provide assistance to those facing a difficult situation with a landlord. Please call our free, bilingual hotline at 1-888-495-8020 or visit us at www.tenantstogether.org to learn more.
