Vivalon's CarePool Program: Be a local Hero by becoming a Volunteer Driver for Vivalon's CarePool Program! CarePool is a vital transportation service for older adults in Marin County. Our Volunteer Drivers take them to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and to socialization destinations. It is a very flexible opportunity, you choose the days and times, review/accept rides online, and, mileage is available. Just several rides a month makes a huge impact on older adults who are no longer able to drive. This is a free service to our riders. Free Volunteer Rides to Medical Appointments or Grocery Shopping

Vivalon's CarePool program improves the quality of life of older adults in Marin by helping them get to medical appointments or the grocery store.

CarePool offers:

FREE rides to Marin County residents 65 or older and to people with disabilities
A unique “door-through-door” service
Extra support, such as unloading groceries for riders, walking riders into their doctor’s appointment, and waiting for them until the appointment ends
Optional mileage reimbursement to volunteer drivers
