Health and Nutrition

Areas of focus for education and pilot program development include: fall prevention, older driver safety, disposal of expired medications, advanced directives for health care, diabetes education and strength training. This committee also functions in an advisory capacity to the home-delivered and congregate meal programs funded by Marin County Aging and Adult Services and educates the community about healthy nutrition and provides guidance to Marin County Aging and Adult Services in addressing the nutritional health of Marin older adults.
