On June 8, 2020 many County of Marin Health and Human Services offices will open to the public but we will continue to provide services remotely when possible to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.

The Nutrition Wellness Program manages the Healthy Eating Active Living Initiative (HEAL) funded by the County of Marin and the Nutrition Education & Obesity Prevention Program funded by the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. In an effort to reduce chronic disease, the program utilizes policy, systems, and environmental change strategies to create healthy places to live, work and play. The Nutrition Wellness Program helps low-income communities increase access to healthy foods, beverages and physical activity through a variety of free services, including:
