Case Management

Coordination and monitoring of services for older persons and persons with disabilities to maintain independence.

Chore Services

Assistance such as heavy housework, yard work or sidewalk and other home maintenance that will help older adults to age in place.

Family Caregiver Support

Emotional support, education, training and respite care for family caregivers and grandparents. Services include Caregiver Assessment, Caregiver Case Management, Caregiver Counseling, Caregiver Homemaker Assistance, Caregiver Information and Assistance, Caregiver Support Groups, Caregiver Training, Caregiver Outreach, Respite Day Care and Respite In-Home Care.

Health Insurance Counseling (HICAP)

To link older adults, individuals with disabilities and their family members and caregivers to appropriate services by providing information and referrals.

Legal Services

To provide seniors with legal services and education on older persons' rights, entitlements and benefits.

Long Term Care Ombudsman

To ensure the rights and protection of older persons at risk for abuse, neglect or exploitation living in long-term care facilities.

Nutrition Services

To maintain or improve the nutritional health and social well-being of older persons through appropriate nutrition services, such as home delivered and congregate meals.

Outreach Services

To maintain and improve the well-being of Marin's older adult community through increased access to services, resources, and information on healthy aging, dementia care, and Alzheimer's.
